Future Plans

Working for TTM Technologies in Littleton, Colorado as a printed circuit board (PCB) engineer.

Why were you were selected for this award?

At the Responsive + Programmable Materials Group, led by Professor Timothy J. White, I research and engineer smart soft materials called liquid crystalline elastomers that shape shift in response to various stimuli. In my time researching I have created chemical formulations that control and improve the shape changing response, applied the new formulations to dielectric actuator uses, and laser-patterned other formulations for adhesive products. My research has a bright future for application in soft biomedical devices, robotics and smart devices that could greatly improve the quality of an average person's life.

What is your favorite Â鶹ÊÓƵ memory?

My favorite memory from my time at Â鶹ÊÓƵ was the double-overtime victory over Colorado State University in a football game.

What does graduating from college mean to you?

To me, graduating college means that perseverance pays off.
