McCarty was selected as the leadership category winner at the national and campus levels. She was recognized for her leadership as a course assistant and lead course assistant for multiple core engineering courses, as well as for her professionalism and academic excellence.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ took home first place in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Chem-E-Car competition, securing Â鶹ÊÓƵ a spot at the national AIChE competition in Boston this November.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the revamped and retooled Chemical Engineering Design Project course — a class (re)designed to provide seniors with practical problem-solving experience and foster stronger ties to industry.
