This week! Mechanical Engineering Distinguished Seminar Series

Friday, Apr. 10. 3–4 p.m., KOBL 102
, a professor of engineering and chemistry at the University of Georgia, will be joining our department for the ME Distinguished Seminar Series. The events, open to all faculty, staff and students, feature scholars from a wide range of peer institutions across the country and some of the world's most prominent experts in mechanical engineering.
The talk is titled "Combustion for Sustainable Transportation," and will discuss how continued development of advanced combustion technologies plays a meaningful role in sustainably meeting rising energy demands while also mitigating near-term air quality and climate impacts.
