Mateusz Leszczynski is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science with concentrations in Comparative Politics and Public Policy. He studies political behavior, gender and sexuality politics, and belief in conspiracy theories with a focus on Europe. His dissertation examines how cognitive disposition, religion and political identity relate to the endorsement of "gender and LGBT ideology" conspiracy belief within Poland. Mateusz's work has been published in the Comparative European Politics Journal. He has been the instructor of record for PSCI 3062: Revolution and Political Violence and PSCI 4062: East European Politics.
Research & Teaching Interests: Political psychology, gender and sexuality politics, socio-political conspiracy theories, European politics, religion, social policies.
