I bring over 18 years of chemistry expertise and a passion for inclusive education to the Student Academic Success Center. Currently a Visiting Professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ and formerly the Chemistry Department Chair at Pikes Peak State College, I specialize in transforming "gatekeeper" subjects into accessible pathways for student success.

My work extends far beyond the traditional classroom. As a recipient of the prestigious NSF NCAR 'Education and Outreach' President’s Award, I've led national initiatives to make science engaging and culturally responsive for diverse audiences. Whether I'm creating award-winning text for traveling exhibits or revamping Organic Chemistry curricula to be more student-centered, my mission is to break down the "tough" stuff into concepts that actually click.
